DEFT is an ongoing project at Applied Scientific Technologies. The goal of the project is to revolutionise data collection within a lab. Combining a hardware and software component, traditional lab instruments can be turned into smart instruments allowing data to be collected and entered using the companion app, which acts as a digital log book with instrument control capturing readings in real-time.
